What is your photography style:

I would describe my style as Lifestyle and Documentary. It might sound a little intricate but it's basically steering away from stiff and posed portraits to capture deep and meaningful images. I will use prompts and guide you into what people would call a "pose" but it will feel very natural and will show the connection within your family. Sometimes I will be just "observing" with my camera the natural interactions that occur without guiding anything, I live for candid moments like that.

I will take at least a couple traditional portraits for those family cards or to send to grandparents, but I will mostly try to focus on the emotion and connection in your family, the fun, silly and grumpy moments.

How soon will I receive my photos:

I try and deliver the gallery within 2-3 weeks from the session. However if it's a big event and not just a couple hour session the post process can take up to 6 weeks.

What should I wear:

Wardrobe is quite important in creating beautiful pictures, but what is most important is that you are comfortable in your clothing. There are certain colors that photograph well, but it also depends on the type of session and the environment it will take place. I recommend not trying to match outfits, but coordinate them - pick a palette of a couple colors and go from there. I also love to help clients choose clothing and will work with you to put outfits together that photograph well and fit your style and personality. If you are in  need of inspiration just let me know and we can work on something together. On occasion, I offer some pieces from my collection to make sure your pictures are gorgeous without having to deal with the stress of styling.

Do you travel for session:

I mean who doesn't like traveling, right! Of course this is always an option -  if you are out of state and want me to capture an important moment in your life, just ask.

How many pictures do you deliver:

A collection can be anywhere from 35 to 150 photographs for an one hour session. I love to "freeze" as many beautiful moments as possible. If it's a bigger session/event then there are usually around extra 40-50 images per hour.
